This cabinet was designed by A.W.N. Pugin for his own dining room. It is based on late Medieval cupboards. The elaborate carving is contained within the structural framework. The cabinet is oak carved, painted and gilded with brass fittings and can be seen in the Victorian and Albert Museum, London.
