Tower Bridge and the Pool of London, City of London (photographed in the 1960s). The term "Pool of London" refers to the stretch of the River Thames between London Bridge and Rotherhithe. (The Upper Pool lies between London Bridge and Tower Bridge, the Lower Pool between Tower Bridge and Rotherhithe.)
