In the wild these zebras are found in North Kenya, Ethiopia and Somalia in semi-desert and grassland. They eat coarse grass and live around 18 years. They are an endangered species. They have large ears and narrow stripes compared to other species. They can survive extremes of temperature and go days without eating.
