Found in the wild African and Iran in the sparse sub-desert, treeless plains and medium and long grass plains, the cheetah hunts hares and antelopes. It lives between 10-15 years. There are now restricted to small pockets of populations. The cheetah is the worlds fastest animal running up to 62mph. It has a slender body, small head and a 8m leg span. They also have a flexible spin that acts as a spring and a tail that helps them balance.
