South Cadbury Hillfort (also known as Cadbury Castle), Somerset. The site was first occupied in Neolithic times (ie prior to 3000 BC); these ramparts are thought to have been built between 500-200 BC. It has been suggested that this site may be the basis for the legend of King Arthur's Camelot.
