Glastonbury 1 House - Butser

This house is based on one of the 'mounds' from the Glastonbury Lake Village. It is approximately 14ft (4.5m) in diameter, and thatched with water-reed. It is late Iron Age and one of the more temporary type houses built. Information courtesy of David Freeman.
