The Wishing Fish Clock was designed by Gloucestershire artist Kit Williams (author of the book 'Masquerade'), and is located in the Regent Arcade, Cheltenham.

The clock weighs over 3 tons. Its working mechanism, at over 45 feet high, is said to be the tallest in the world. The white duck at the top lays a constant stream of golden eggs, transported down to the main clock box. Around the clock face and box are a number of doors, from which mice pop out from time to time, while a snake on the top of the box occasionally reaches down for the nearest mouse! Underneath the box hangs a 12 foot long wooden fish from which the clock takes its name. When the hour strikes the fish wiggles its tail, rolls its eyes, and plays the tune "I'm Forever Blowing Bubbles".
