Common Prawn (Palaemon serratus). Common prawns are semi-transparent and have exoskeletons which they must shed in order to grow (a process called 'ecdysis'), the new exoskeleton taking a couple of days to harden. (The Common Shrimp (Crangon crangon), with which they can be easily confused, is more sandy-coloured to match its environment.)
