NB - Fire is very dangerous and should only be lit by an expert - DO NOT TRY THIS YOURSELF. The spark was held against some dried moss and leaves in the hand and gently blown. When flame appears the moss and leaves are placed on the ground (in a specially prepared area so that the fire will not spread) and some small sticks placed over the moss and leaves until a small fire is burning.
