This rose has low trailing stems and curved thorns. The cup-shaped white flowers appear in June and July. The fruit is more rounded than that of the Dog Rose. It grows mainly on heavy soils in Woodland. Pictured growing alongside Bramble at Maulden Woods, Bedfordshire - Mid December 2005
