The Hall - Inside, West Stow Saxon Village

The hall would have been the communal building and focal point of village activities. People would have come together to feast and tell stories. This building was built in 2005, replacing an earlier version on the same site and reusing its floorboards and doors. The hall is a post built structure without a pit and features unique experimental thatching techniques.
