The Reverend Thomas Greene of Great Dunham, Norfolk received a letter from Wroxham, Norfolk written on January 19 1836. The writer John Humfrey was surprised by the number of people who wished to emigrate - 50 in all! 19 men, 10 women and 21 children were on the list of emigrants.
