This is page 2 in which John Wittewronge explains how his grandfather became a Calvinist during the protestant reformation and in 1564 left the Low Countries with his family for Britain, leaving everything behind, to escape religious persecution. His eldest daughter Christiana had died in Ghent but he brought with him his wife Mary and two young sons Jacob and Abraham.
