1978 Philips 5000. Word processors began to change the working environment. This dedicated word processing system was usually connected to a daisy wheel printer, and could also perform billing and accounting, and specialist technical functions as well as its word processing abilities. Its two 8" floppy discs could store 300kb on each disc.
