Photogaphs of the exterior of Framlingham Castle, Suffolk. The castle was built in the late 12th century by Roger Bigod, Earl of Norfolk. The castle is noted for its curtain wall and mural towers. The castle was at the centre of the struggle between the Bigod earls and the crown, in particular Henry II. It was also the place at which Mary Tudor msutered her supportters in 1553 before being crowned Queen.
