City Hall is home to the Mayor of London, the London Assembly and the GLA. From July 2002 they have been housed in this rounded glass building on the south bank of the Thames near Tower Bridge. It was designed by Foster and Partners, one of Britain's leading architects The design brief was to create a building for the GLA that would become a new landmark for the capital. It is part of the More London development located between London Bridge and Tower Bridge, on the south bank of the Thames. Picture taken 31st August 2006.
