Painted cartonnage case containing the mummy of a woman named Tjentmutenebtiu - Early 22nd Dynasty, about 900 BC from Thebes. The case is decorated in horizontal registers and includes the presentation of the dead lady to Osiris and a scene showing the ritual bathing of the dead lady in streams of life giving water. CAT-scans show she died early around 19-23 years old. The wrapping contains several amulets. Picture taken at the British Museum January 2007.
