Mummy of Hor, incense-bearer of the temple of Amun in a painted wooden coffin from Thebes. The lid is decorated with a winged ram-headed figure representing the sun-god, and a series of compartments containing images of various deities. These include Osiris, Isis, Nut, Thoth and the Sons of Horus. A figure of Maat, personification of right and truth is painted at the throat. Picture taken at the British Museum January 2007.
