The Great Court at the British Museum in London showing the glass roof structure. The Great Court was opened in December 2000. The glass roof covers what was once the open-air inner courtyard. The world-famous Reading Room is at the centre. The Great Court is the largest covered public square in Europe. The architects for this development were Foster & Partners.
