Wherries, Norfolk trading craft, remained under sail until commercial wherry traffic finished in the 1950's. Today just two remain plus a few pleasure Wherries sailing the broads. This is a picture of the Albion, built in 1898 which has been operated for over fifty years by the Norfolk Wherry trust . The Albion was built when the heyday of the wherry was coming to an end.
