Some of the meat produced returns to the farm to be sold in the farm shop, the rest goes to farmers markets. There are now lots of these markets but the farmer only goes to the large ones where the customers are. However the farmer is building a new shop and butchery on the site and in future the meat will be butchered at the site on return from the abattoir.
