Originally the tack and feed house, it was converted to two cottages. It was here that Dilly Knox, John Jeffreys and Alan Turing worked on the ideas for breaking Enigma that they had gained from the Poles in 1939. John Jeffreys set up a production line to make copies of the Polish 'Zygalski Sheets.'...
